Persimmon Community

A space born for co-creation by artists, authors, and healers to come together to expand awareness, foster connection, and build community.

We are honored to showcase artwork by AAPI women and nonbinary artists from the Bay Area, celebrating stories of resilience, identity, and healing. All artwork is available for purchase, and 100% of sales go directly to the artists—we offer this space as a donation to support their work.

Our curated book selection explores Chinese medicine, holistic wellness, the experiences of the Asian diaspora, mental health, and spirituality. We welcome book donations to the Persimmon Library, offering growing resources for collective learning and care.

Beyond our space, we extend our offerings to the community through free Qigong classes, wellness gatherings, and partnerships with local organizations, making healing practices more accessible to all.

If you’re interested in collaborating, purchasing artwork, or contributing books, we’d love to connect.

We’re so excited to share this space and movement with you—sign up today and join us by the waterfront!

Qigong Tuesdays is part of Mission Rock Your Workout, a free fitness series bringing movement classes to the Mission Rock neighborhood. Open to all ages and abilities, these classes offer an accessible way to care for your body and mind.

Spring Renewal: Nourishing your Energy and Health

Spring is a time of renewal, growth, and movement—but seasonal transitions can also bring stress, hormonal shifts, and emotional imbalances. In Chinese Medicine, Spring is ruled by the Liver, which governs emotions, menstrual cycles, and detoxification. When it’s out of balance, you may experience PMS, digestive issues, allergies, or irritability.

Join me as I share Chinese Medicine insights on the Spring transition, including:
🌱 How Spring affects emotions, stress, and hormonal balance
🌱 Acupressure & Qigong to support vitality
🌱 Foods & Lifestyle tips for smoother seasonal shifts

Self Care Practice Lab is hosted by Elaine Santos, Certified Wellness Coach and Founder of Wellness as Art. I’m honored to join as a special guest!

Registration is $30. Come connect, reset, and align with the Spring season!
